Well first of why buy from there? forget thats a true 300mw laser, maybe half of it if lucky.. why dont you buy from laserbtb that gives you better value for money.

www.laserbtb.com

EDIT: BTW the glasses they would have sent you are junk and the case would have been destroyed by the time it arrived. Happens to 95% of everyone who buys those

Yeah but add in shipping and the fact that all Laserbtb lasers are over spec and yeah its about $180 for a normally over 400mW laser

The laserbtb is much better laser and deal.
The HL 532nm 300mW is a nice laser and usually overspec.
PS buy it with the IR filter installed

Check out JetLasers also--they make exceptional quality lasers ---maybe a little bit more money but...

I got it a few days ago and its pretty awesome. I bet something like this would cost about $1000 10 years ago. I just now realized that you can focus the beam lol. One thing though, is it normal for the batteries to die after like maybe 15 minutes of use? I went through 3 batteries last night in about 1 hour!

Yup, depends on the cells you use. Guessing they are cheap cells labeled around 800mAh but are really 250mAh. Buy some quality IMR cells which will be around 650-800mAh and really be the mAh labeled. Also make sure you have a quality charger or else the batteries wont be fully charged, thus wont have the max capacity

Why would he spend $30 to send a laser back that he thinks is awesome?

I don't always buy lasers but when they are awesome, I return them
