I'm back in business! There are a few of these on ebay - tested with actual measured output. They are all listed at $180, but I made a $125 offer and it was accepted!

I'm looking forward to getting into some holography with this... something I wanted to do about 15 years ago and never got around to... I even set up an isolation table in the basement and it has sat unused ever since... I went to town on it back then, super heavy duty with concrete poured top, and 2" concrete pavers under that, carpet layers and inner tubes for isolation.. Its about 4'X4' in the corner of the basement, just been holding boxed ever since.

Tomorrow I plan to start cleaning up the area in preparation! WOOHOO!!!

Nice! I even just snagged an overspec Melles Griot greenNe @ 3.4mW! some good stuff popping up. I wonder if some place liquidated its inventory recently?
 
While I've bought from that seller before that tube is only rated for 10mw. If you have an LPM I'll be interested to see your readings as I've been wanting a decent red HeNe for awhile now.

If you check Sam's FAQ - the tubes are rated 10mw, but new tubes run around 17-18mw.. Therefore - these tubes have never been used.

Scroll down to the actual tube measurements section. Rated for 10, stickered as less than 30, running at 17. Same tube (Coherent 31-2090-000). Thats why I bought it, its virtually new.

No LPM currently, but planning on getting a low power one from laser bee in the next few months.
