Too bad this deal is DEAD...click the link=BROKEN. Go search it on their site, its $100 nows, not a deal at all plus WB is iffy. Better off spending $10 and get one from a member here or a trusted laser seller.

I've worked with that host before, The heatsink is tiny... You'd probably have a 20 second on 1 minute off duty cycle even at 600mW.

More than likely yes even so it would have been a bargain at the original price, you never know one of my 445s doesn't appear to have much heatsinking and i can turn it on for 5 mins at a time only slightly gets warm on the host of course the temp at the actual diode is a lot harder to know, but it appears quite happy with that and I've used it quite a bit.

Some lasers work with smaller heatsinks better than others do. Some lasers are designed so that they use the host itself for most of the heatsinking and this works even better when the host has some descent mass to it which I doubt those lasers have much of.

Anyway, at $100 they aren't a good deal anymore. You are better off buying from someone off here anyway :D

When the occasional low power diode comes around my lasers are quite similar in price I sell mostly 1.8-2W+ 445s though.

Looks can be deceiving....
