Need a picture of a LPM measurement for a green laser

I was looking for someone who could help me get a picture of a measurement in the low 40mW range? I need to return a laser and in order to do so I need to show them a real measurement from an LPM. I used some methods on the forums that use IR thermometers or measuring the temperature change in water with a black base and such.

If you can help please let me know as a reply or PM me ASAP. I may be able to offer some small compensation for your efforts in aiding me with my issues.

Thanks for the reply Trevor! I went ahead and check out that thread prior to starting a thread, but unfortunately I live in Hawaii and there is no reasonable way for me to meet with someone or ship anything since it costs quite a bit extra to send things with a battery and a lot of extra time. (I'm heading up to sacrament California in about 2 weeks, so if anyone is reasonably close with a pocket LPM let me know!!)

Yes that's all I need, and it is an odd request. But 40-45mW is good 50 is also fine if that's what is being read. But it can't have the actual laser pointer in the picture, but the beam is fine.

I have done tests thought up by others which have a relatively fair amount of accuracy being 15-20% off. Both tests brought me around the low 40s which I was expecting. I was very skeptical about getting a 200mW laser for around $55. All I want is a refund, but The seller (from Amazon market place) refused to give me a refund on my purchase without a laser power meter reading.

If falsifying a test for this purpose is against the rules of the forum I'll be glad to delete this or whatever is the correct thing to do, but if it isn't and there is someone willing to help me, please let me know!

If it was that simple I would, but being from Hawaii there aren't many options. Shipping anything from here is hell, not to mention with a rechargeable lithium ion battery -.-

What kind of battery does it take? Someone with an LPM probably has the same kind of battery that they can test it with.

A flat rate box should be ~$5 both ways.

Also, those tests are extremely rough and the accuracy is probably more like +/-20mW and 15-20% off.

Well I'm sure people have a 4000mAh 4.7v battery for other lasers, it seems pretty common. I'll see if I can find someone around Sacramento- San Francisco area with an LPM. Otherwise I'll be looking for a vet to test out my laser. If it turns out that they won't refund me after too long I'll end up buying a DX green module. Or is there someone here who sells them for that price or close to it or lower? I'm looking for something that can light matches or fuses focused at infinity, probably at least around 90-100mW? (Unsure about that but it seems to me the Internet's conclusion is around there) 200mW would be ideal.

Yeah, I accepted that and decided to just try testing it, I tested it about 5 times and averaged it to the low 40s. +/- 20-30mW is still nowhere near the 200mW that was advertised who knows I could have a 5mW laser pointer LOL my eyes can't tel the difference while wearing my green blue laser glasses/goggles.

That is true, but it still doesn't sit well with me to falsify a reading; even though your assumption is may be correct.

Not to worry I completely understand where you're coming from! Hopefully I can get an LPM when I can afford it so is can get real and accurate readings ^^
