What really puts the icing on the cake: In the item desc, it says all the burning capabilities this thing has, but in the Q&A, they state its for presentation only, no burning capabilities.

I am fairly new to this website, but have purchased lasers from china a lot in the past, generally I can get for $35 a green laser that is said to be 1000mW which I have learned from this website is impossible. But what the $35 green laser can do it burn black things and light black matches when focused correctly, and if lucky even fireworks. as for the 200mW $32 if it cant burn then its for sure not 200mW since the 1000mW i bought is actually actually around 150mW. But if $32 is your price range you can get a green laser that can burn by being adjusted buying from china, but it would most likely be advertised as 1000mW.

Yes, a handheld 1000mW 532nm (green) laser pointer isn't really possible or not to my knowledge. Not all lasers can burn when focused to the focal point, unless it's 100mW+ (real) which will cost easily 80+$

Did your laser get tested (LPM)?

I have a laser that is identical that purchased on amazon.
It does burn! But only when you unfocus it and hold it to something black (my black wallet)
I do not have an LPM but it seems to burn like my 100mW
However my laser claims to be 5mW, obviously because amazon can't sell anything over 5mW.
They could be different lasers (or powers), I can post a pic if you like.

I am actually currently looking to get a LPM instead of just estimating, so right now I am checking this website to find a decent priced one, but once I do I will finally find out what the real power is of all the lasers I have with 1000mW stickers on them.
