PM sending timing out.?

Hey Guys,

Every time i sending a PM to someone or i click Preview Post even sometimes when replying to a thread, it brings me to a blank white page that says it has timed out.:thinking:

This happened on a few PM "Bricks" that i wrote and had to re write the whole message again.

Its been doing this for the past 2 days.

Was wondering if anyone else is having similar issues still.?

Same problem here, I suspect it is a result of the countermeasures to the DDoS attacks. It has been doing it to me on thread replies as well.

At least on IE9 if you hit back it reloads the page WITH your text, so you don't lose what you typed or have to retype it.

Hmm... So its not just me.

Yes if you hit back it saves the text however Not when you hit preview post which i do quit a bit. If you hit back its gone.

I kinda figured it was due to that.

Hopefully it gets fixed soon.:beer:

Still doing it. I just sent 2 pms. it did it on both.

It was doing the delay on PMs here from before the DDoS attack..

What I do find strange though is that my Screen that has
always been set at 1024 X 768 pixels now (as of tonight)
is 25 screens wide due to the "Saving Energy Saves you
Money" Advertising at the bottom of the Forum pages...:undecided:

Did same when logging in ---second attempt logged in OK

I'm getting timeouts, and connection failures on PMs now. Tried twice. Rest of the forum is no problem.

I got a time out sending a pm a few days ago but i have not gotten another after that or before that ever since it was Fixed.

DO you know if there was another update?.

I've had a few sporadic FireHost blocked message pages
when PMing and replying to Posts...

I wonder 10 years from now what our Rep count will be. LOL

Some of you High Rep guy's will be in the thousands.

Sooner or later we are going to have a Vet section for the Rep bar if you hit 1000 points.:crackup:

FireHost blocking of PMs just happened again...
wouldn't let me sent a rely to a PM... Had to
go to the Profile page and click on "send a PM"
to get the message through...

EDIT.....
now its doing it when responding to Posts.
This is what the page looks like...

BTW...I've noticed that if a PM is short it seems to be
sent OK... It is long PMs that seem to alert FireHost..
