Survival Laser 445nm Kit Problem... (SOLVED)

Hello all, about 2 weeks ago I bit the bullet on finally building a 445nm laser. I bought the Survival Laser 445nm DIY Kit along with a 445nm diode. Once it all arrived I began to all assemble it, but upon inspection the two wires coming from the pill were extremely frail, they almost seemed dry rotted. I continued soldering and finished the laser, yay it works... But not for long, after about a day of use the laser stopped working. I opened it up to see what was the problem, and I found the the wire coming from the driver had broke. It did not break at the solder joint, nor did I handing the driver roughly and yet the wire broke. The problem is, the wire broke very close to the pill meaning there is no room to solder a longer wire to it.

Any ideas what I could do?

[EDIT] Gary CALLED me (on a federal holiday none the less) within 12 hours of sending me sending him an email. I can't thank him enough, I could only wish all company's customer service was like Survival Lasers, it's hands down the best customer service I've ever found.

How about asking Garoq for replacement/repairment ? It is still under warranty.
Any fiddling on a commercial product will void the warranty.

You could take the PCB out and replace the wire but you could end destroying it completely.

I couldn't agree more, I was expecting an email at most and he personally called me. Less than 12 hours from when I first sent the email. Gary completely has my business from now on. A great guy who goes out of his way to help out a customer.

When the laser was working... It was beautiful! 445nm is such a 'pure' color of blue and is very pleasing. The output power. Even more amazing. Never have I seen a beam in a very well lit room during the day, and this diode is amazing. Something so small 5.6mm outputting such amazing light quantities just baffles me.

I see you're located in Long Island, FarmingDale is my top choice for college and I'm going to long island for a swim meet this up coming weekend. Pretty neat place. By any chance are you near the Roosevelt field mall? My swim team gets dropped off there for a few hours and it'd be pretty neat to meet someone from LPF. PM me if you're interested.
