You´re going to play with one of the strongest RPLs around :)

Do you want the 473nm or the 532nm for the job?

Uhm... damn. :D No idea. I'll consult my friend who will probably be visiting just to see the laser. I never saw 473nm in my life, what's the power of them both?

And where do you get your moneytrees? :D

EDIT- OH cool, on that link provided it says that the mounting for the Beam expander is 32TPI thread, one inch long.
Now I just have to figure out the other side, which will be on your laser, correct?

Oh I forgot to ask, will you be offering the SAIK as a heatsink+host combo, or just the heatsink?

If it's just the heatsink, I better order my hosts right now, if I want them before I retire :beer:

Yep, you should order your hosts immediately, I only sell heatsinks.

The host I'll get will most likely be used in my own personal collection.

This thread took off! I cant wait to get my host and heatsinks too! I'm going to put my new mitts500 in it with foulmyst's 1650ma buck/boost driver. And dang I forgot to order a b50 heatsink! That would have taken care of my buggered up pill for the host I have my b50's heatsinks are shorter and the host still use the origional pill which I munched up in a vice. I'll order it when you start making the C2 sinks and I can get my hands on a couple.

I wish I was allowed to spend 5000$ on a lathe.. I'd be working in the greenhouse all summer.. I dont have a man cave! My garrage needs to go away... :lasergun: it's horrible and only has 2 20A 120V lines in so I'm not going to be able to run alot there...

My garage is the spare room in my condo. Man I miss my parent's place when it comes to stuff like this!

The host finally made it in and it looks great! Just gotta figure out how ima put it together, wasn't expecting to need a spring from the rendering. Might have to cut the tail spring a little too so i can use 2 CR123As. Overall excellent looking and just waiting for my new diodes to come in.

Keep me updated! :)

Rendering is not of the final product, after the machining designs were made they were modified a little here and there without going back to change the renders. They're here just for a quick look of how it should look like inside and how to orient things.
