On the contrary I believe clothes would be best. What am I always wearing? Exactly. I'd flaunt an LPF shirt and/or hoody all day long. People with different views be damned!

I would be interested in a T-shirt or a hoody of the same sort.

Personally, I think that Niko's banner design (the one recently changed)

would look very cool on black cloth.

T-shirts, being as cheap as they are to buy blank, would provide a good way to increase forum revenue the keep the servers running. It might also be a good way to gather diode murder funds.

What about an LPF bumper sticker? I would buy one! :D

hey guys I got a few prices today.. looks like lanyards are good to go! I can get them (blank) for around $0.99 ea then the screen printing of text/image brings the total price up to $1.25 ea (before shipping to me and then shipping to you!). Im going to see if i can get it done in my local area, other wise i will have to opt for this custom t-shirt printer shop.

LOL give me a few more days and I can get def. answers/prices! but they look promising... at ~$5 +shipping (could change... dont quote me on this!) we should make a nice profit, plus they will sell fast at this price!

What do you guys think? good idea? good price? worth going ahead with it? -Adrian

what about some kind of custom LPF host, even if it was an existing host with an anodised logo, that would be cool. just an idea though...:beer:

Well... I can do both, also are people happy with the current LPF logo on the lanyard?. I was thinking of this printed on the lanyard.

It's sunday today, so most shops are closed, so I call a few people tommorow, and orgainse everything. Are you planning on selling them all at once? I'm pretty confordent that I can sell the lanyards at around $5 +shipping. Obviously the more we get the cheaper it is... so any thoughts on numbers? Also which type of lanyards are people intersted in? the thin type to attach to your keys? or the thicker type to go around your neck? there might also be a option for a mini lanyard for use with lasers... any thoughts?

Yeah thats a great idea.. I was thinking of this yesterday, maybe a cheap RPL looking host with some sort of logo on it...

a lanyard with the LPF logo would be sweet, I would definatly buy one of those. I really like the idea of a mini one for use with lasers too. The cheap RPL style host with a logo is pretty much exactly what i had in mind anyway, would definatly look good also...

I guess that if I had the exact measures of the design space on the T-Shirt I could work something out, like a simple abstract design, although I'd love to see the isologotype printed on hoodies or lanyards :D!

Isotype = A graphic
Logotype = Text
Isologotype = Graphic + Text


People nowadays just use "logotype" for anything. For example, Nike has an isotype, LG has an isologotype, IBM has a logotype.


A black background rectangular keychain could work too. Those are really cheap, look good, and are non-intrusve.

Sounds like a good idea, although for the best end product the finished graphic image would have to be rendered in a vector format, so that means it could be resized to an unlimited resolution and still retain all quality and clarity in the image.

Personally I would prefer the logo currently being used but in like a nice simplified black and white version with an opposite background.

Wouldn't be too hard to recreate in illustrator :)

Any sized lanyard would be awesome (relating to either neck or keychain lanyards) but if push came to shove I would choose neck sized.

I think the best would be avery organizing this. Just send them to the people donating to the forums, and write something like "donate and get LPF stuff". a 5$ donation, a keychain, a 20$ donation, a shirt...

This way it would be way easier for everyone!
