I am VERY pleased to hear that. I was lecturing on the 4th floor in East LA when it hit. The building reacted as it should. It swayed to beat the band

Yes, Niko. We had a "moderate" earthquake here to day. ScopeGuy20 lives very near the center of where the quake happened.

My office mates felt it all the way out here (Santa Barbara). Luckily, looks like there was no major damage or injuries anywhere. Good to hear everyone is ok. Pretty good wake-up call to be ready for when bad ones do come, I guess.

I was in the cleanroom at the time, and a guy near me asked someone else "hey, did you see that fixture moving?", no one else knew what he was talking about. I got upstairs 15 minutes later, and wouldn't you know it, I think he did see something moving.

My Mother owns a day care center in Ontario. It wasn't a strong quake however, it tweaked one of their windows just enough to where it shattered. One 2yr old child obtained a small cut from it..but nothing major.

This earthquake just felt different to me for some reason....
