Hey LPF,
This is my thread for my recently built 428mA LPC-815 Aurora C6!

I love this host. It was the first host I ever bought to build a handheld. I sold that particular laser ages ago
and began missing it. I happened to have 2 Aurora C6's laying around, an LPC-815 Sled from GhostChrome,
and some heatsinks for them so I figured it was time to put one to use! :eg:

The LPC-815 had been sitting in its heatsink for about 2 months before I finally had initiative enough to harvest
and use it. I had quite the scare after getting it out. As I broke through the heatsink the diode flew out and hit the
ground about 4 feet below me. My stomach dropped what with its open canned-ness and all. But luckily I tested
it after pressing it and it survived without a problem :)

You can probably see that's one of Moh's nice Focus Adaptors. I love it, it makes focusing a snap! And it looks
pretty nice, all polished and all. (The photo doesn't show it that well though)

Quite obviously this will destroy matches, balloons, plastic, and steel wool. It burns fantastically! I use a pretty
strict duty cycle adherence so this should last me quite a while, especially with that nice heatsink!

Here are some more photos of this laser.

Turned out great! Nice job. I'm liking that focus adaptor too.

 for you.

Haha thanks, I'm proud of how it turned out. I still have the Ghostdrive I got with this diode. My next Red build will probably use it in a fan-cooled lab style set-up. :)

Nice work man! +1

Ive got the exact same build with the same focus adapter, also the red anodized heatsink (from survival lasers) makes it look even more awesome!

Sweet! I love the C6.. its just so sleek. I've been eyeing those anodized heatsinks lately. They look pretty cool. I may pick one up for my other C6 and save the aluminum one for a lab style build or something.

Good job. :gj:

Is it possible to drive the laser with just one 18650 ? I thought two batteries is needed for the ghost driver.

Oh whoops, I forgot to mention I don't use the ghost drive. I use a FlexDrive for this build. I got the diode from GhostChtome, but his driver is still waiting to be incorporated :)
