Below there are my possibilities:

1) NOVAlaser Alpha125

2) Optotronics PPL-125

I submit me to your wisdom........ ;)
Go with the PPL.  It has better divergence and longer run time with C batteries.  Also you can set the power to whatever you need.[/quote]

I think either choice is a win. The only real question is now do you want a pen sized laser with the advantages/disadvantages that brings, or a portable sized laser with all the advantages/disadvantages that brings. ;)

After a couple of days, i thinked thath an RPL-200 it's too powerful for my type of use.

So, i'm thinking to buy an LG Aries, but i need suggestion for the model.

I don't want to come over an Aries-100 because nexts models are too high priced.......

My interest is first of all divergence and brightness of laser ray........so, what's your suggestion boys ?

PPl-125, Aries-50, Aries-75 or Aries-100 ? What's difference of brightness ?

Thanks again for your support  ;)

The PPL-125 and aries-100 will be significantly brighter than the aries-50 and aries-75. You won't notice much difference between the PPL-125 and aries-100.

IMO you should get the PPL simply because it doesn't have all of the annoying dongles/interlocks and safety delay.

"The PPL lasers are out of production and no longer being sold......."

This is what Jack has written few minutes ago via mail.....

So, i can forget the PPL....

At this point seems to be garbain the Aries-100....... ::)

evil indecision  :-/

P.S I asked Jack for a discount of 7.5% but has not yet responded ......... he will not be offended i hope ?

Hmm, 7.5% discount. Does Optotronics have any discounts for LPF members? I'm not sure.

Is kinda insulting though "I think your products are great, but not THAT great so I refuse to pay full price".

:-?

This is counter-intuitive, but the research shows that when people are offered a plethora of choices, they become agitated and dissatisfied. People are happier when they only have a limited number of choices. Make an initial decision about the minimum power, or the maximum power, or the price range, or the company. That will limit your choices and make the decision easier and more satisfying.

I'm not sure that 7.5% percent discount that user got still applies. The only Opto discount for LPF users I can find atm is the one in Jack his signature.

I don't see how asking for a discount that has been handed out to others before would offend him, don't worry. ;)

@ daguin:

Thanks for the suggestion  ;)

I selected this choises:

My budget is almost 950dollars:

1) Hercules 250 ( but i don't like that don't come with batteries and charger like RPL, but have active cooling system and better cicle duty )

2) RPL-260 ( come with charger and battery, but have a worse stability power )

3) Waiting for a few months because i will take more money and probably buy a RPL-4xx ( but it's VERY difficult waiting for..... ;D )

About Jack....i don't know....is strange.

He have always responded to me maximum after 10 hours by mail ..... instead went almost two days and still nothing.

That's why I think that perhaps is angry ........ but perhaps as you say no.  :)
