Radio shack doesn't sell any lasers besides red and green and not above 5mW.

i know it sounds too good to be true but sure enough they had a red, a green, and a white in a completely different isle from the LEDs and flashlights. maybe it was put in the wrong place, ill go back and check the details again. if i can buy it ill post pics of everything. i have no reason to bs anyone here. im not an expert of lasers and such but i know enough about electronics to know what things are. may seem like im just syaing something without reasearching it, im sure not trying to do that just wanted to post what i saw. ill be back with more info

I wonder if how close to white can you get with the right amount of red, green and blu-ray....Or maybe just green and blu-ray?Red and blue should give purple anyway.....Has anyone tried it? It would be a very cheap white....Could be achievable in a bulky pointer even if it was lower quality :p

I know I have posted this somewhere else on the forum but I am pleased with myself....To the eye it looks like a good white but the camers picks up the seperate colours.

This is made of 2 blue rays, 5mw greenie and 70mw DX red.

too bad a 5W argon system will need 3 phase power and work very effectively as a space heater :p
