Hey guys, I've been pretty excited about getting this laser for a while. Unfortunately, funding is low due to the lack of sales I've been having on fleabay, so this is the first to hit the chopping block.

The host itself
A little bulky, nowhere near the GLP (pen style) lasers' size. It is the EXACT same host CNI uses for their PGL-III-C series. I'm under the assumption they buy these from the same source. The anodization has no marks, it's perfectly done. On the end cap instead of "X" shaped grooves around the cap it has vertical lines all around. (as shown in image)

Also, in front of the aperture the laser has some slight wear on the "ON" and "OFF" arrows

Safety Features
On the front end, there is a shutter that you can spin to block the light or allow the light to pass through.
When turning it on there is a red light that turns on and then a 2 (count 0-1-2) second pause before it turns on.
The end cap features two safety features: Pin and key interlock.
The key stays inside the host when switched to "ON" and can be removed when switched to "OFF".
The interlock is the same thing as snipped off headphone wires. Fits in as well as any normal jack. It's snipped on the end, inside the wires are connected and the ends are glued shut.

The laser itself
It's a 473nm. Rated >80mW, I managed a peak of 127mW and a solid 90 mW average.
473nm is a rare shade of blue, rather than slapping a diode into a heatsink and sticking a driver on it to make light, this is a fragile DPSS system much like our 532nm greenies. Inside, there is a C-Mount 808nm diode that is pumped into specially coated Nd:YAG. This crystal changes this wavelength into a deeper IR at 946nm. The coated crystal only lets 946nm out and it stops *most* 808nm from leaking out. Afterwards, the 946nm is sent into a BiBO crystal which essentially halves the wavelength (and doubles the frequency).
...It's not an easy thing to make is what I'm getting at. Personally, this is currently my favorite color. It's more "soothing" to look at than 450nm.

This also has an amazing divergence. 1 foot (30.5cm) away the spot is 1/16 of an inch (1.5mm).

At about 25 feet (762cm) the spot is about 3/4 inches (19mm).

The big question: any splash around it? Yes. Not much though, my camera makes it much more visible than it really is.

That's about it, I'm looking for what I paid for it. No tricks, ask David from Lasever.com himself for a quote. Only difference is mine is power metered, and confirmed it is fully functional and >80mW. Check the full detailed review in my sig to find out (possibly) more info on this laser.

Looking for $390 USD shipped. I can ship internationally.

Oh, I forgot to mention, the beam is visible in broad daylight :)

Buy it quick guys, this probably won't last long! :p

I would buy it, but that wear on the ON/OFF paint is a deal breaker for me! :D (Just kidding, hopefully that is obvious)

Great laser. Sorry to see you sell it after all the trouble you went through to get it. Best of luck and BUMP.

Eh, I've been trying longer to get a 589. All I can say to that ^
besides, I still keep my higher powered labby so it's not a complete loss ;)

Ouch... still nobody with $$?

If I wasn't paying for prom and a plane ticket, I'd jump on this is an heartbeat. 100mw of sapphire blue for <$400? That's a steal. Good luck with the sale mate, really surprised it's lasted this long!

I'm shocked this isn't selling too... and I'm not entirely willing to let it go for less now, I want at least what I paid.

One offer for it - selling it in a week unless someone is able and willing to spend more than the last offer (last offer is below $250, still looking for more than that)

May as well say what I am saving the money for, LG Vega HV 50.

So the current best offer was below $250? It sort of seems like a shame to me to see this sell for less than $250.

I'll offer $260 + $20 to cover shipping = $280

(If I've misinterpreted, my apologies)

Well, there's a new highest offer! I'm still going to let it off till the end of the week however, I'm not really going to be home much.

To clarify - my office is the new highest?

If so, neat. I'd keep that offer on the table until Tuesday evening/night.
