Here's one I agonized over for awhile. After I was done searching up some Krytons for two customers, I was offered this one. I got it with the full intention of tearing it apart and making at least a 6X out of it. However, after I got it, it was built "too well" for me to just rip it apart. It is not my build, but I would be proud to say that it was. It is built very well.

I've hung onto it for awhile, but realized That I do not need another PHR based laser. I thought that I would give y'all the chance at it before I go ahead and tear it apart to upgrade it.

It has a PHR diode that is driven by a V3 flexdrive. It has an aiXiz acrylic lens. It is putting out 110mW with the acrylic lens. It puts out 145mW with a 405-G-1 low loss lens.

I'll take $130 for it (shipped in the US)

Except for the >500mW violet (which was built in a heavy duty host on purpose). My "personal" lasers are all Kryton Grooves (violet, red, green).

awesome. Ken's got my kryton smooth right now for anodizing. I want to put the S03 in there if it works out.

The "S03" (I hate that we are still calling it that) WILL work out to be "something." We just don't know what yet ;)

Yea I didn't know what to call it. I should have said, "supposed S03".

Nah -- Too awkward. If someone actually finds and buys a real S03, then we'll have to do something. For now, I will just hate it.

Ouch! I made a quick decision on that GB, and now regret it. From now on, I'm going to try my best to wait until the sleds are confirmed and tested. But it makes it hard when the suppliers always say that there is a very limited number available. But they just probably say that to get you to order quickly.

BTW, pyro, I just noticed how close our sigs are. The last line of them I mean :)

Yea it's hard to resist sometimes. Patience isn't my best quality, but I'm learning it now (stupid DX!)

No offense taken on the sigs. I just want that beast order to go through! (lack of patience showing again)

We can't win if yours says "perfect" and mine says "near perfect", lol. changed that :)

I guess we are threadjacking, but it's already sold isn't it? I think blake will be very happy with it.

I'm not sure if there is a "threshold" for being able to give rep or not in this software. In the old one you had to have at least 50 posts to give rep. If you are able to give rep, there will be a little icon of a "scale" under the poster's avatar. If it is there, click on it and do your thing. If it is not there, you may have to reach the threshold before you can do so.

Peace,
dave
