Thanks all for the nice words...geesh, if it weren't for bad luck lately there would be no luck at all to be had ! BUT - the GB's are still on schedule - looks like my calendar kinda freed up a tad bit for packages to get delivered, too ! ;D ;D I GOTTA look at this as a way to move jobs to something better - this is hte second time this company has laid me off - the first time is what prompted me to follow the job here to Texas - damned glad I did, but now I wish I had started looking for other employment right after I got here. It'll work out - keep your eyes peeled in the for sale area here for some neat stuff being sold off - I can always replace the lasers later....

That really sucks SenKat. I really hope you can find a new and better job very soon. I wish I could I do something to help. :'(

Sorry to hear the news. But it may not be the misfortune it seems at the moment. I was laid off last year. Both of my brothers have been laid off at one time or another, and my father was laid off once. We will all tell you that in the end it turned out to be a good thing, an opportunity. So good luck and tear 'em up.

PS: I have a lot of experience reading and writing resumes. I'll be happy to review yours and make suggestions.

The diodes should be in on Wednesday at the latest - (I hope !) I can ship as soon as it comes in - so you can pay when you are ready :) I only ordered 50 extras - so if they go fast, it will be a little while before the next order ! Thank about the job - eh....time to move on I suppose, and stop dwelling on it - everything will work out for the best, I hope !

My dad used to work for MK when my parents first got married, and he got laid off... I don't like think where we would be if he hadn't been let go though LOL! Now he works for a HVAC company as a lead project manager... One step below the boss! ;)

Its funny, cause he has all the keys to the school I go to cause he programmed the HVAC system there... He can log onto the system from his laptop and set the temperature for any and all individual rooms! ;D So like... The detention room totally has to be set at 88 Fahrenheit! :p ::) :D (He doesn't ACTUALLY do that :cool: )

Prolly the BEST part is that he gets all the old systems/faulty systems when they have to install new stuff, so I got a really freakin nice dual out 5v 6amp or 12v 2.5amp regulated wall mounted power supply, perfect for electrolysis and misc. projects. Our house is even wired with a commercial HVAC controller thats upwards of a grand, that he got for free! :cool:

But yeah, run on topic... Thanks for the update SenKat!

Awaiting the diodes with rabid claws...

$13 USD total, shipped, per diode. Don't know if that price changes for late buyers, but that seems unlikely.
