I picked up a couple of dorcy jr flashlights today. As with the coleman heatsinks i had made, i'd rather just have a batch made up and sell the rest off (cheaper that way)

So i am going to have a batch of Dorcy Jr. heatsinks made up.
They will be like the old style, not full body, and unanodized, with a 6-32x3/32 set screw (require 1.5mm hex tool to tighten, like most heatisnks)

Price is going to be $10 shipped.

Once a few people show interest i'll have them made up.

Cool im in. Are these the same as dorcy cr123? I assume so. If they are, are you able to include a Dorcy cr123 into the "kit"... If not I will buy the HS from you, then buy the host off Tommii! Thanks

the nearest target store is over an hour away from me, i just happened to be there cause i transfered a patient to the city, so i stopped and got 2 so i could make a set.
that was the first time i had been in a target store. they have LOTS of cool flashlights....i had to run away or risk spending every penny i had...

Matt, let me know if you want some Dorcy Jnr hosts, I could probably get you 5 hosts for $70 shipped.

Let me know and I'll get an actual quote up for you. :)

Does a RKCSTR fit in the cr123 Dorcy Jnr host??

Sounds good buddy. I should be stocking a complete kit soon actually, mainly for Oz customers, as shipping the flashlight to the states costs $13 in itself, I'll let you know. :D

Just out of curiosity, how much were they at Target? I know a member got a few on clearance before, but were they full price by you, and if so, how much is full price? I might buy a heatsink or two if I can get the hosts cheap. I've only built one dorcy before, and I got the host from Jake long ago for $15 + $10 for a brass heatsink.

ya know Dark_horse makes some VERY nice heatsinks for this host. I suggest you check them out. I know personally that he even has them IN STOCK.

Yeah i know he has them, and they are VERY NICE heatsinks, the anodizing is flawless and makes the laser look even better (the pictures of the dorcy set in my album have DH's heatsinks)

He use to have these heatsinks on his site for $15 shipped, but now he just has the full body heatsinks for over $20.

it does feel bad in a way since there is already a source for this.....but i guess thats how the market works to lower prices.....i'm like jake...except i don't rip people off :)

Well not really. Barry's HS's are full body heatsinks, your offering the cheaper solution.

Your not doing anything wrong. :D
