I did kill one diode by stupid mistake. :'(
I had the DMM connected to V out, when I noticed power sagging I tried measure the battery voltage in a lazy way by connecting the 9v battery directly to the V out DMM (without disconnecting the Diode first) it couldn’t handle 9v [smiley=evil.gif], the cap blew up and the Diode became "open lead" Diode. [smiley=evil.gif]
