I held the negative wire of my driver up to the casing and I stuck the positive wire into where the positive pin is suppose to go. Don't worry, there was no capacitor in the driver I used :p

How come you don't just solder those wires to the housing, then sell it for more?

im tempted to buy this but i dont think my soldering skills could do a new pin yet. my coworker helped me with a similar problem with the pins broke off and he used an exacto knife and dug a little bit in there then dabbed some solder on a wire and stuck it in, then once on he used epoxy to create a base all around the pins and have the wires coming out as pins. worked great after it dried over night.

might wanna try that :)

That will only work for the GND pin.'

I have managed to get mine to work after breaking all the pins off, give it another go following these instructions......(post 4 on this thread)....

One slight difference is that with all the pins off you need to drill carefully in one of the reccesses at the edge of the LD flange and solder the negative capacitor leg into that hole that will keep it nice and rigid to help with the rest of the soldering.

Aw man, i was just about to claim it, but I'm not from the US. :( Would've sent you extra money for international shipping , but I'm not sure I could repair that, it looks in pretty bad shape. :'(
