Hello everybody. I was mostly a lurker before and its been so long I figured I should reintroduce myself. I dropped out of the laser community a little after the existance of 50mW 520nm diodes was exposed. Didn't check in since then. Now I have a Sci Fi 1-1.4W 520nm laser on order lol. I cant believe the advancements that have been made since I left.

I've never built a laser myself but I would like to change that. Having a real source of income now and working in a machine shop might be a dangerous combination for me lol. We'll see where things go.
