yes another beginner post

ok i have decided on the
HighTechDealZ - 445nm 1W (1000mW) Blue Brand New Laser Diode in Aixiz Module

and have some questions about drivers. i want to go down the battery powered hand held root for my 1st laser. so basically what type of driver would be best and how much resistance should i have.

the requirements (i use this turn loosely)
-as small as possible
-i want to make it DIY
-run off two TrustFire 14500
-i dont want to max the laser out, rather opting for longer life

im thinking of putting it all in a ipod mini but nothing is set in stone.
well any help is much appreciated thx in advance.

Since you asked... I think...

How about bothering to do some of the legwork yourself....
The info is readily available on the Forum...
You will find that most members here do not like
to Spoon Feed new members...

The 445 can be a bit hot for a first build, why not try a PHR(violet) or an LPC(red)for your first
build, the diodes are loads cheaper and will help you get some experience before trying a 445.
