I think this movie may smash some box office records?
All the movies seem to be extremely well written and are profound in their depth of meaning or at least play on social issues.
I have been known to use the X-men series in my classes when I teach to themes of tolerance and societies acceptance of differences.
I swear by these movies and they are lots of fun too. Kids love them. Also I can get kids to expand on the themes in the movie, create comics and build new characters... etc..
My house in Canada is fairly close to the "school for mutants" also known as Hatley Castle at Royal Roads University in Victoria BC.

Yup, saw the trailer when I went to see Thor and it looked very good. Not that I've seen an Xmen movie I didn't like yet :p

I'm more interested in seeing the new Captain America movie though, it's a shame it wasn't released when the whole Snowden fiasco was at it's peak.

Going to see the new hobbit movie tonight.

I love the posters and the combination of the old 1950's Anti-communist propaganda/ 1930's - 40s Nazi Paleo-Futurism style mixed into them.

Looks like a seriously epic movie!!! :thanks::beer::beer:

Went to see Hobbit, Desolation of Smog thursday and into friday.

Did the 6 hour release marathon, where they show the first movie, well, first.

If anything I think the second movie far outdoes the first. It's better paced, and the action is spectacular.

Of course it deviates completely from the book, but that's really not a bad thing.

Also saw some trailers... the movie Divergent seems interesting.
