X-105 PROBLEMS !! :(

:( At first, there was a big circle arround the dot, the closer you got to surface the smaller it got, but now, there is a small circle arround, like if the old one got smaller, it still burns and do everything the same, but is the circle bad ?

Naw, in all seriousness- be HONEST, now - have you dropped it, or exceeded the run time at all ? What happened prior to the circle showing up ? Was it in your pocket, or sitting in the sun ? It COULD be simply dirt on the lense where you tried to clean it...

I tried to clean it, and is the same, I did not droped it, or left it on the sun, it was on my pocket for like 5 minutes, only........ :(
 
What did you clean it with ? If it was alcohol, you may have just voided the warranty by messing up the lense if you used too much :( I ONLY recommend the lensepen to clean these lenses with - anything else, and you are really risking ruining hte AR coating, and the surface of the lense :(

With special cleanning cloth for glasess, and I didnt use any substance, ill take a picture when my camera charges
 
From far away with zoom, that looks like the dot, but it isnt, inside that big circle there is a small dot

this is the laser closer to the door, without zoom..... I realized there are 2 circles... :(

Same thing happens with mine, all it is it dirt in the lens. I cleaned it and I used too much water, it condensed in the lens and made it worse but the next morning it dried up.

I dont want to risk that, I emailed nova, asking what to do, ill see what they say...... or what other member says......
 
Mac - go to a camera store, or radio shack tomorrow - buy a lense pen....they are not too expensive, and the results are AMAZING ! Those microfibre cloths really do not do the job, and you really do risk scratching the lense with any contaminents that may be on the cloth.

Mac, when you were cleaning it or before you tried physically cleaning it did you try blowing into it?
 
Okay because something like this happened to me and thought if I blew in the aperture then it would clear any debris but it made a circle like that instead.
