I heard the coherent lasercheck is a good budget LPM with 5% accuracy. Some other people claim they are very bad at 15-20% acc. (is this a hit or miss thing?)

I'm just looking for a LPM that can measure at least 500mW with 10% acc. It's okay if it's an analog meter or second hand. I also hear the name Kenometer a lot but I can't find any information on them

My budget is around $150.

Re: WTB: laser power meter

PM Kenom to see if he has any more "Kenometers" left - they are thermal units, based on a Coherent Thermopile which are VERY accurate. Also, Daguin has a few he MAY be willing to part with - Scientech thermal units...any phot-diode based unit will have a lack of accuracy, and that is what the Coherent Lasercheck is centered around - you cannot beat it for portability, though :)

AND you won't get one for $150 either ;)
