WTB Diode Driver (not boost)

Looking for a driver with a current of 150> mAh for a PHR diode.

I have done my research and used the search bar below but haven't had much luck with drivers that are currently for sale (seen a few but from old threads)

Would appreciate offers of drivers or suggestions on where to buy from for around $10

I've read a few threads about problems with the LM317.

Would it be the best option in terms of a cheap ($10) driver?

Yeah, you can easily build it for under $5

I would recommend just doing the LM317 and resistor combo, don't worry about extra caps or diodes, that's typically where the problems come into play.

Okay, is there a build thread I can refer to? I've checked out the DIY Homemade laser diode driver but not 100% sure.

That's all there is to it, an LM317 and a resistor (you don't need the capacitor in the picture). Use the formula to figure out what value of resistor you need
