ooo They look nice Jay...Got beamshots?

Ill consider it. Bit out of price range tho...

It's a solid little laser with that custom heatsink/module mount. Here's a beam shot:

Normal garage lighting with some smoke.

P.S. I have shipped lasers to Australia a couple of times...No problems.

Re: WTB: Blue Ray Laser

Don't forget, the imports ban on lasers comes in to effect 1st of July.

You may not of had any problems shipping lasers into Australia in the past jayrob, that they weren't illegal then :) Just giving you the heads up Simo, I wouldn't want you to miss out.

Re: WTB: Blue Ray Laser

The ones I've sent before were marked as a gift, with a description of 'LED Flashlight' with a very low value ($15) Also, I sent them without the batteries...

Yeah, the ones that look like flashlights might be safe...

But I guess we just need to wait and see how serious the new law will be enforced :)

I would reccomend you buy off Jay or Skater.

They both have great quality products

No, but Jay sends as a "flashlight" apparently. Not sure what skater ships it as.

Your best bet is to buy off them.

Flashlight written on the package? i'd rather not risk a $110,000 fine.

Dx wrote light pen and my 50mw got opened but not taken (before the bans)

I'm making open can lasers for my friends soon (when they get the money so I can buy parts) I can make a Blu-ray for you as well (it's going to be in a MXDL with Jayrob's heatsink and a rckstr driver). I don't know how long it will take me to get the parts and make them though (my friends and I are not in a big rush for me to make the lasers). PM me if your interested :)
BTW I'm in Western Australia :)

Got a few ideas and offers...Anybody else?

I don't know how hard the govt' is going to be about this laser ban, but there is one thing enthusiasts from Oz need to keep in mind . . . . . .

We KNOW, based on previous identification of a member, that the "chatter" in this group (and probably others) IS being read by at least members of the media. I would conduct this type of business via PM's and emails.

Peace,
dave
