buy protected ones.
Stay away from the 3000mAh ones (false advertising), the 2400 or 2500mAh are mostly up to spec.

I have lots of new Sanyo #18650 batteries. They are a true 2400mah.

They are much better quality & safer than the "chinese" types.

They are $7.95 ea.

Prepaid in the cont. U.S.

I've used hundreds of them in my UV lights.

Tenergy makes high quality, reliable batteries. Plus, BatteryJunction has great support. When one of my Tenergy batteries failed, they replaced it immediately. Yes, I know that it sounds like I'm contradicting myself there, but Tenergy really is a good company.
