Hi there, i was just wondering, would this be easy to modify to a burning laser? what would i need to do it? and where can i get it?

You might be able to turn it into a burning laser, at the cost of the laser's lifetime. It might get powerful enough to burn things, but it wouldn't last very long.

umm, that sounds like a waste of time then, what would be the easiest and cheapest way to make one? do you know what i would need to make one? i already have a minimag

make one with a aixiz modul and a dvd burner diode
it will be red but it can burn

i agree, leave the dx laser as it is and try to make a different one, just for burning

yea even if you tried to modify it, as a green from 5 to prob 25mw max if your lucky

You could modify it into an IR burner, but it would be harder than it looks.
DON'T do the minimag mod. You will get a laser that lasts 5 seconds if you try that mod.
