ey guys

i just bought a true dx30 mw green laser and i LOVE the thing

but i,ve only had it for 3 days and already have offers to sell it to few mates so im gonna sell it and spend bit more money this time round on something with more power

so guys any recommendations i,ve seen alot about the x105 where can i get my hands on a pair of those

if i cant find one i like somewhere else ill just go back to dx and buy a true 100mW now one question whats the difference between the true 100 and the un true 150 both round same price one true one not ???

links to pages i can buy some of these are appreciate

also im in australia

Skipstar - check out NOVA for the X-105.....Dunno if a price hike is on the horizon or not, but chek them out anyways !

hmm thanks alot guys i think ill grab a x105 might look round abit more

but im still curious whats the difference with dx's true and un true lasers ??

i had this problem at first so i asked one of the very kind dx forum members
a true laser is a laser made by newwish an untrue one is a clone with unspecified power
im gonna go for an untrue 50mw dx laser ;)

really ?? thats intresting

then how many Mw does the un true 200Mw laser put out ???

so there no difference in the beam with true and un true ??

theres no difference in the beam its just these are from a different company with untested power and i believe they are telling the truth about how much power they put out it couldnt be much less than the stated power could it :-?

people have noted the DX 200's power to be all over the place at times! sometimes when you turn it on, you could get a output power of about 250mw for 1 second, then the power could drop to 80 or so mw, then back up to about 150mw. a X-105 is definately a better choice, but for $120, the DX might be allright

No, the "true" and "untrue" designations mean absolutely nothing, except perhaps what company made them. A "true" 200mW laser does not put out 200mW of true 532nm. Its like WLs "no-ir certified". It means... well... nothing! (other than a salary for someone in marketing)

yea i think im set on the x105

but its funny my first thoughts when i got the dx true 30 Mw was true meant i was gonna get a true green colored beem LOL
