Good news…

Steve got back to me shortly after my last post and I now have in my hands one slick looking 200mW 532nm Spyder III Pro!

Thank you Steve!

My initial impression is that the laser is very stable and definitely putting out 200mW.

Using a Coherent LaserCheck, I received the following readings:

285mW average reading during an initial three minute run

278mW average reading during a 2nd three minute run

I’ll try to get some pictures posted later.

BTW, I haven’t received the 5mW 532nm version yet but the wait is much more manageable since I have the 200mW! (I did notice that the 5mW 532nm model has been removed from Wicked’s website so I’m not sure what I’ll be receiving.)

Still waiting for my 5mW Spyder III and PD Pro. I kind of hope I get the 5mW. It would be cool to have this totally over-the-top host with a wimpy (albeit safe) laser.
