First off, WL SUCKS! Just in case you didn't know. Buy Nova or Optotronics, and maybe this new S-KY, but we won't know more on them for a few weeks yet.
Did you pay using a credit card? If so, no matter what, if you send it back and tell your card that it is not in your possession, and give them the tracking number, (even if they haven't received it back yet) then your card will charge back WL for it.
If WL has a different address for returns and they won't make contact, then save and print all attempts to contact, (you only need several of them) and then fax those to your card, and they will kick it back as well. (and then you get to keep the junk laser)
If you paid WL directly using your card, then same story, no problems.
If you paid via Paypal using your card, then same story, you are ok. If you used a standing balance or straight from your account, then you will be pretty much screwed, as Paypal's recovery doesn't cover broken or non-performance, only if you didn't receive it and only if they find in your favor, and only if there is any money in their account at that point, so that will never happen.
Hope this helps!
Thanks,
Joe
