hi
i wanted to ask you guys wich of these lasers are the best
because dragon lasers asks 149$ for a green laser pen 75 mw
will this 75mw dragon laser beat other lasers at 200mw in beam visibility ?
because of a better ir filter or different components?
or mayby because of the housing materials that are quality making up its price?
can anyone explain me this please? because i going to buy my laser and the most important thing for me is beam visibility, not burning things

Viper Series 75mW Green Laser Pointer | Dragon Lasers
75mw = 149$
Wavelength 532nm
Output Power measured over 60 seconds at 23 Celsius
Working Current DC 3V, <600mA
Beam Diameter 1.2mm @ aperture
Transverse Mode TEMoo
Operating Mode CW
Working Temperature 15C to 35C

LZSK - Stick 532nm 200mW High Power DPSS Green Laser Pointer

and

LZBH - 532nm 200mW Focusable Green Laser Pointer

thank you

The 200mW will be brighter but will have a much larger beam. The 75mW Viper's beam is like a pin needle compared to the 1.5mm beam on the 200mW lasers.

So the Viper has a beautiful beam and the 200mW lasers have a large beam which is not so nice. Plus the vipers is IR filtered which is always a PLUS! :D

thanks
so the lasers from lazerer are not ir filtered?
why is large beam not so nice?
large beam = more visible right?
or do i missing something here?

I'm 90% sure they are not.

The 200mW is going to be brighter because its a much higher out put of light. The viper beam is nice because its beam is tight and narrow vs a thicker beam that diverges quicker.
No larger does not equal brighter. If you have a 100mw 532nm beam that is 2mm vs a 100mw 532nm beam that is 1mm the smaller beam is packing more light in a smaller space.

Think of it this way... If you have a focus-able flashlight and you focus the light down to a small point vs the light unfocused and spread out over a greater area the more focused light will seem brighter... Same concept with a laser.

dragonlaser ~ lazerer
and what about if you can focus the laserbeam?
so lazerer focused laserbeam vs dragonlaser viper series

The 200mw only because it is brighter. With the 200mw laser you can only make the beam bigger not smaller over a long distance.

Personally I like a laser with a quality beam.

ok thanks man
and also wich one do you prefer more when pointing at the night sky
i mean wich beam will give more wow factor when pointing in the night sky
and what do you mean with quality beam? like its more vibrant in color like more white/green then like a dull green laser beam?
