I concur, it costs around the same for DIY parts! I personally been fighting temptation to buy the Dilda, but since I like building my own, it isn't too hard!
However, let's pretend that this was a WL 200mW red that you bought for (lets be extra generous) $200 and it only read 115mW. Then would you be upset? It will look really nice!
Anyway, I love DX, just not so much for their higher-powered lasers (I'd rather pay more for better IMO). You just have to be patient for the shipment.
