Why does my this happen?

Merged consecutive posts

When my laser is cold it is brighter.

I just put my laser in the frezzer for 1 minutes, and it is like 10x brighter, then goes slightly dim, but is still brighter.

As several people have told you, myself included. Welcome to the world of cheap DPSS lasers. They're all going to vary with temperature, and usually no two will act exactly the same.

Ahh my old laser used to work good at room temp, but this laser has to be freezing cold, then it produces a brilliant beam, I might pot mod it only slightly to make it better at room temp.

Pot modding it will only make it worse (and generally just lead to a greatly accelerated death). Cranking up the current makes it get hot faster. When you have a laser that likes being cold... doing something that makes it get hot faster will NOT give you better output...

Maybe you should quit abusing them and spend more than $15 next time.

Another crazy idea brought to you in part by Cyparagon.

Or at the minimum.. not take them apart if they're working decently. I'll admit to having broken quite a few cheap greens myself messing with them. But never lasers that worked relatively well as it was. My sacrifices have all been ones that had 'issues' of some type as it was.

Thats two green lasers broken now.

LOL you were told how to get it Cold but you still put it in the freezer (as told Not to) and then your told not to pot mod it and you did>? Why are you even posting wasting your time if your not trying to learn from it?
