Since I've been on the forum all I've heard is people moaning about WL and I cant figure out why. Yes they're really expensive but then don't buy from them lol!

I bought a pair of sport elite goggles and despite telling me they were OD 5 (when they were 2) it all seemed ok....

But I want to hear the other side too.....

No one likes them because their lasers are overpriced, most of the lasers they send are underpowered, and their pulsar series doesn't even have a driver for the diode, the pulsar 125 costs 250 bucks and it's just a diode in an aixiz module connected directly to the batteries.
Their goggles are the only good thing they sell and that's because they don't make the goggles themselves. ;D The CORE is just about passable, but other than that the rest of their lasers suck.

We don't like them because their greedy and put profit before customers. :P

i dont think anyone has ever complained about the goggles.
In fact most would recommend you get goggles from them.

If you want underpowered lasers at overpriced prices, WL is the way to go.
It's not a bias, it's the truth.

goggles good, lasers bad

Wicked is bad because all of their products cost 50% more than the competition and they have poor QC and false advertising.

:o

Are they that underpowered?! I knew they were expensive but I always though they at least were as advertised!

At my college wicked lasers are like the ultimate cool company which noone buys from but every one wants something from them!

I have DX lasers and DIY reds and I was considering a core lol... not anymore :)

The cores are decent and fairly priced. Just avoid their more expensive lasers.

I used to think that all of the members here were biased, but now I see why wicked sucks. I bought my Evo 35mW for $200. With that money, I could have spent 9 bucks more and gotten a nova x-100 with much better customer service and quality control. The Evo is OK, but I had no idea that I could have so much more power for the same price. That was partly because of their ridiculous forum. If you post anything negative there, you immediately get permanently banned. If you even talk about any other laser company, you get banned. I've heard that with their high powered models, they often ship out far underspec lasers. Wicked is pure deception; stay away from them at all costs unless for goggles.

Just my two cents.

Im detecting anger in this thread *backs away*...

We should bring in a WL representative to talk to all of you guys... see what happens....

Ever see a Mongoose and a Cobra? ;D ;D ;D

It would be funny if Steve from WL actually came here to try and answer the complaints about wicked ::)

All my lasers from WL (35mW executive and 5mW core) work great, but I would not recommend them for the censoring on their forum and overpriced lasers

we should ask them.... :)

infact I just might if enough people want me to... ::)

I think you guys should pick one "wicked lasers is bad thread", sticky it, and be done with it. There are too many threads like this. Or you make a new anti-wicked thread and argue there. Its just cluttering up the forums.

*This does not mean I support wicked lasers, don't hate me*

I would have spent $200 for the quality of the laser pointer I got from DX... Five mill watts...lol
