who's gonna get diablo 3?

I loved Diablo II, and I'm sure getting 3. I just hope they dont pull a WoW and make us pay for it, if that's the case then i am NOT buying it.

I'll be getting it if the pvp is decent and they don't charge a fee. I spent 4 years playing d2. I just hope they don't turn it carebear and put all kinds of restrictions on pking/going hostile. I had tons of fun pwning the duel games with friends.

I loved Diablo 2, played heaps of single player and even a bit online. But since I didn't have good internet at home, I had to go to a computer gaming place in town. Bit expensive, so I stopped in the end.

the graphics do look awesome, and aparently there is a popular petition going on online that people are not satisfied with the graphics, they say it looks to colorful and cartoonish like WoW, and they want darker graphics like the other diablo's.
Now it doesnt seem too WoWish to me, when it shows in the dungeon it looks fine to me. When they are outside and the day is nice, bright, and beautiful, of corse it's gonna look colorful, and im sure it will look dark when it's a dark day out.

I always liked the Diablo 2 graphics. 3D graphics like in WoW do make things look too cartoony because of the polygons.

But with 2D isometric graphics you can have much better graphics, you just lose freedom with the camera angle.

That petition is a load of bs actually. It doesn't even check if your email is real and you can put in 100 fake emails to vote spam.

lol most petetitions I've seen are actually like that..
well obviously it was popular enough to get well known. I saw a video of it on the yahoo front page.

i loved warcraft 3's custom maps. Winter Maul (along with any other maul), tower defense, tower wars, fireblade's hero arena. anyone remember any of those maps?

lets just hope they don't screw it up with some crappy copy protection like that starforce garbage, I will buy it if it doesn't load a bunch of crap. Games seem to be getting more and more full of junk these days.

lol thats what i thought when i wanted to play command and conquer 3 online, but then the next time i installed it I found out i could skip all the junk.
