Hi all,

My laser is fairly new and I haven't been playing with it much lately. I turned it on for the first time yesterday and I noticed a pinkish/white patch on the corner of the blue dot. Anybody know what the cause of this is?

Sorry my camera couldn't pick up the colour on the laser.

What surface was it being pointed on? White effects from blue lasers is usually due to fluorescence of the target.

Could also be parts of the die fluorescing. 405nm lasers are very well known for this, and their dies sometimes glow yellow. Wouldn't surprise me if 445nm lasers showed a similar artifact.
