Want to buy a laser under $55 (50mw+) before the friggin aus laws come in...Suggestions?

Look at these at DX

sku.13446
or
sku.12595
or
sku.1371

Out of those whats suggested? Any good forum sellers got something good?

I'd say that your first two choices suck. The True 50 is fine.

This
I'd say was a good pick, but you'd have to buy a charger for the battery.

This is good too, but maybe it's not powerful enough for ya...? It's plenty bright, don't you worry about that.

DX is slow as. You should've thought about this a week ago, you might not make it. Ultimately I say go for an X50 from NovaLasers. It's quicker shipping (not free though), above spec guaranteed, and will last you until the laser hype calms down and everybody gets on with their lives.

Anybody got a different opinion?

sorry to hijack a little... is the 30mW Romisen you linked better than the "famous" True 30mW?

Help!

I need suggestions...Should I buy this laser?

Dealextreme sku.12342

Either buy 12342 or get an X-50 from nova. Don't even consider the pen style true 50. The penlasers on dx are crap and they usually break after a month or two. Don't buy the potmod lasers either. When they die after a week you won't be happy.

I bought 4 units 50 mW pens from DX none "True 50 mW" all still work but outputs were 20 -25 mW, 40- 59 mW, 65 - 75 mW & 60 - 90 mW so, as cheap as these are I say buy 2 or more and sell or send back the lackies!

is this laser any good? i ask because i just bought it last week

sku. 10557
Those are decent lasers. The main problem with them is poor heatsinking so you shouldn't leave it on too long.

thanks, thats a relief to hear, i was beggining to worry when i hadnt seen any videos of that exact model! i probably wont leave it on for more than a minute without letting it rest for a good 10-15 seconds, is that enough?

That should be fine.

If you want to get a laser in before the ban, don't waste your money on something crap, you're only going to be dissapointed.

Heh, I love how all these new Aussie users are coming on just before the ban and want to order lasers :)

And I reckon there'll be more! ;D
