Which laser pointer should i buy?

Hello, im new with lasers, so i thought i'd take a proffessional help
I want to buy a red laser with the power of 200 mw or something.I want to burn things and point it far away
first i've found this www.rayfoss.com
but i read some reviews and they say there is a focus problem with it, like u focus it then you put it in your pocket and when you get it out its not foccused.
So i thought that one might be better

So that would be enought to burn stuff and point it far away?

Those are nice choices.
Rayfoss tend to sell nice hosts, I have not heard of the focus problem, but the second host is nicer anyway.
Just remember that if you get a green or blue laser you will need different goggles.

I am noticing one thing that kinda bugs me. If you push a little hardish on the focusing head forward or backward, you can change the focus by a bit. Meaning when I twist to focus it, sometimes when I let go it unfocuses...or if its in my pocket i take it out and its not focus. I noticed this for long range pointing, close range isnt an issue..So unlike my other lasers, you cant expect it to be focused the second you turn it on.

so you say should i get the second one?
and what about the goggles, are they ok?cos i dont want to risk my eyes.

The goggles are fine, at least for low powered hobby application.
They are not as cool or comfortable as the +$100 professional ones, but OD 5-6 centred somewhere around 650-660 is just fine.
(remember to buy a pair for everybody you want to show off the burning to.)

I would buy the second one, the focus mechanism of #3 look pretty vulnerable to pockets, and #1 is still the prettiest.
