Where to get safety glasses in Canada?

I'm building a laser engraver with a cheap chinese 405nm 500mw laser module.

I like seeing, so I of course want some safety glasses. The $5 pairs of safety glasses that I see sold along side these things are probably not too effective.

I've been searching here and see survivallaser.com recommended a lot, and wanted to order these ones- but they don't ship to Canada I also see a lot of threads about people getting knock off ones from other sites.

Where is a good reputable place to get safety glasses in Canada, or at least that ships to Canada? I don't mind paying a reasonable price to protect my eyes, but I don't want to pay $100 and end up with the same ones that are selling for $2 on ebay.

Did you look at "Survival lasers USA" site, instead of the international site, they should ship to Canada. :yh:

Ok - I think I figured it out.

survivallaserusa.com does NOT ship to Canada.
survivallaser.com DOES ship to Canada for $15.

I was confused by the two identical sites.


Edit: Actually, shipping on the slip over ones is $30. Kinda steep. But I ordered them anyways. Only get one set of eyes, right?

I was confused by the two identical sites.

The sites aren't identical.

Due to US laws the USA specific site has a different range of products from the international site which can sell things that would not be legal in the US. SurvivalLasers got into some trouble with the FDA and this is the result, they get to keep doing business and the FDA is happy. Plus us international customers still get a full range of products!

Good choice--only one pair of eyes--worth every penny to properly protect them.
