look on buy / sell / trade i recommend Rkcstr drivers others prefer dr lava lava drives different strokes for different folks

Yes, both of the above mentioned drivers are excellent quality drivers...
The battery supply of your host will be key. If you want to drive a blu-ray with a single 3.6 volt battery, you will need the FlexDrive.

If you really need a cheap driver, try the DDL circuit, based on the cheap and widely available LM317. The schematic and instructions are on this board. Doesn't take long to make it. Also, make a test load from 4-6 1N400X diodes and a 1 ohm resistor. Easy to learn and cheap to build.
