Hey guys
I have been interested in lasers for years, but until recently, could not justify their cost. To be honest, I was looking at wickedlasers and dragonlasers for the longest time until I found this forum. Looking at the prices offered by group buys and members of this forum and suddenly my entry barrier has all but vanished.
As such, I have ordered numerous lasers from here and am anxiously awaiting their shipment & delivery. My only other previous foray into lasers is a green NCSTar rifle/pistol weaver mount laser (~<3 mw) and a Wicked lasers green Core (5 mw).
I did not realize that lasers were so deadly, and have ordered safety glasses ahead of their delivery. As a health care professional, I recognize and take very seriously matters of health.
I'd like to commend the stickied introduction to lasers and other guides on the general forums as well. The main thing that I would like to see is a little more forgiveness for beginners. I have noticed some rather arrogant tones and stern warnings bordering on personal attacks on threads. I realize that without appropriate guidance and safety, beginners can and have easily ruined it for the rest by shining at people, airplanes, etc. Still, it's just something that I've noticed that has probably turned away a lot of people.
Anyway, I am no stranger to internet forums. I have over one thousand posts on the car forum ClubLexus (Club Lexus Forums - View Profile: ELL Y) where I have posted numerous DIYs, and am also a member on HIDPlanet, ReefCentral, Nanoreef, AirsoftForum, Slickdeals, and Overclock.
