Whats a good flashlight for laser projects?

Thanks dave! is there anything that might not use CR123A's? Ideally I'd be using AA or AAA batteries, because I can get them for free.

Then get this one, it's a little fatter than the other MXDL ;D and jayrob uses them for building blurays with DDL drivers.
You could make a laser with this by using normal AAAs with a flexdrive.
