So I bought 2 green lasers from Ebay, both 303, which has the highest quality in factory produced lasers. I tried them out on black plastic bags and both of them produce smoke and easily make holes in like 4 layers of plastic bags.

Is it true 5mW? I also have a 100mW and bought those 2 as a comparison. Both for $20

That simply isn't true. eBay's lasers are mass-produced cheap lasers which range in powers wildly, and some have even gotten to some buyers with only a few hours of run time before dying. With a green laser capable of poking holes in dark plastic bags you are looking at over 100mW's so please be careful, wear goggles and don't aim it at aircraft or people!

Actually it takes less than 100mW for that if it's focusable and low IR;)
"Which has the highest quality in factory produced lasers"? Now that's a funny.
Sweet, there isn't a single person here who will be able to answer your question with accuracy. They absolutely have to be measured with a laser power meter (LPM). Those are at the bottom end of what is available and it's totally luck what kind of power and longevity you will get from them and there's a reason why they can be sold so cheaply while still making a profit.
If you become more interested in higher quality units look at the reviews and see what other members who have been here awhile are purchasing. DON'T assume ANY of the sites who pay to advertise on this forum mean they are good quality either.
Oh yeah, pay attention to what Hap wrote too as he is correct on the rest and not really incorrect on the 532nm. I just happen to have a more in depth experience with lower output 532nm and what different outputs are capable of.
