pclever: I think you need to do some reading here first. There's tons of information in the review forum, and if you'd just do a search on some of this stuff, and look at the stickies you'd be able to answer a lot of this stuff yourself.
People are willing to help, but you can't just shotgun posts all around the forum.
As for red or green, well; that's up to your preference. Green is more visible. The red focusable units are cheaper "$-for-mW" if all you're concerned about is burning.
