My moms dvd player broke so I broke it down and extracted the laser.
What model is the laser on it. Its a Curtis dvd1041
It has 4 pins all in a row
Also what's the pinout
The assembly gives no clues at all

Just give me a minute to look in my handy Rolodex that tells the model, wavelength, power, and pinout of the laser diodes from every optical disk drive ever made.

I'm sorry, I can't seem to find it :p

You don't really expect us to know everything about some random diode from some random DVD player, do you? What I can tell you is that it is most likely a low power combo red/ir diode that is in an unusable package and you should just chuck it and buy an lpc-815 or lpc-826 sled.
