I have built a couple of different 405nm units so far, but I haven't been able to put them into a proper housing yet. I have tried building a housing myself (by melting together some square pieces of plastic with a hinge on one side) and failed miserably as it literally fell apart during use. I was hoping for some information on what kind of flashlight/heatsink I could use.
Here are some required specs for the host and heatsink:
-The host should be a nice-looking metal flashlight that holds two CR123A batteries (as I will be using a rckstr driver, not a flex driver).
-The heatsink should be able fit an Aixiz module inside of it and have a tightening screw.
-The heatsink should be designed for the model of flashlight so it is a secure fit and nothing falls apart.
I appreciate any information... model #, website links, name, anything.
I was originally going to use a Dorcy Junior host with the Darkhorse Dorcy Junior Custom Heatsink, but I cannot afford a flexdrive (which runs on one CR123A battery) so I will need a host that can fit 2 CR123A batteries. That way, I can use a rckstr driver.
Thanks!
