I'm building a 445nm laser using a X-Drive 1.8A 6V, a Osram PLTB450B 1.6W diode, Kryton Groove 5.6mm host so i can't use a module, 3 element lens.

I need help with what kind of heatsink i will need?.

Copper or Aluminum?

If you're asking what kind of heatsink you need for a Kryton Groove host you are asking a stupid question. It's a stupid question because you have obviously done zero research or legwork yourself on this site or anywhere for this matter. You need to start looking up these answers to these basic answers yourself. They're everywhere -- you just have to do some searching.

This is not spoonfeed-ville, and if you need this kind of spoonfeeding you shouldn't be owning or building a laser.

LASERKID, BionicBadger is right... I'm new to the site also, but this question can be answered with a few quick searches.
