So I've been looking around and it seems everyone has a bunch of different tastes in green lasers. I want to know what anyone feels was the best green laser for the price they paid, including DIY.

O-like, probably. www.o-like.com

Their 80~100mW modules are usually overspec, and for $70 shipped worldwide, that's not bad! Just buy a host and heatsink and battery and you're set.

Yeah, defiantly, O-like sells great modules at great prices, I have bought a 100mW module, BRIGHT, and burns too, does not perform under-spec. At least 100mW if not over.

I loves my 80-100mw pointer from Susie. the beam was a little off so I adjusted the lens on it (takes some work its glued in place) and now it is a tiny dot all the way down the block. shine it up the stairs in total darkness and it lights up the stairway. mine isnt really a great burner, but i lit a cigarette with the sun and a magnifying glass today so its alright :p

You should seriously consider Suzie's modules if you want a budget green pointer, like everyone has said. Like rocketparrotlet said, they perform generally overspec, and at unbeatable prices. If you can machine yourself a host or get one of Jayrob's kits (look in the BST section, they go for $55-$75 depending on options) then you will have one of the best pointers you can get at an amazing price.

And her customer service is awesome. I even talked with her on msn about china and sushi lol.

DIY: O-Like 80-100mW from what I've read/heard.
mW/Buck: 30mW True Green from DX, indisputable winner.

From the looks of it, and by me taking apart mine and comparing, the 80-100mw module looks to be the exact same module that is in Susie's 80-100mw newwish style pointer.

(But Jayrobs DIY Green kit is so much more badass) ;)

I'm pretty sure a 50mW greenie will not light a match without a lens. It might maybe im not sure, but you could use a magnifying glass to get your beam to a nice small dot, then it would light it.

But with 50mW, it would still take a few seconds. To light instantly with a lens, probalby 70-80mW. Without the lens, about 100+ (just a guess).

has anybody used the o-like 120+ green pen style?

No, but they're garunteed output, and I would trust Suzie. I would get the 100mW laser, though. Those are usually overspec, and there's barely a difference between 100-120mW. Plus, I don't really think it's worth paying 30$ for +20mW.
