What have I missed?

Hey guys,

I used be be a frequent visitor to LPF, but university and other hobbies of mine have been consuming most of my time. Could anyone give me a quick update of what's been happening here in the last 5 months? I basically got bored of all the 445 nm laser hype, and decided to spend my cash elsewhere for enjoyment after having purchased on myself. Is it still going on? Any new laser wavelengths? Do we have green laser diodes yet? etc...

Well as far as the 445 diodes we now have diodes that can do 1.7W without breaking a sweat. I currently have an M-140 diode that outputs around 2,030mW at 1,500mA.
